A Superhero who saves Art and Nature

| | ,

We took a civic education lesson, trying to understand what Cultural and Environmental Heritage are, why we must protect them and what we must protect them from. After that, we worked on the representation of the human body by drawing a mannequin with the right proportions. Then we worked on the representation of the human body by drawing a mannequin with the right proportions. We used our mannequin to invent a legendary figure with powers, a Super Hero with a name and special abilities, whose mission was to save the Art, Culture, or the Environment of our planet.

First, we drew a mannequin based on a grid (the head is one-eighth of the total height and represents the module for the proportions of the other parts of the body). After that, we traced a silhouette figure from our mannequin and we drew the character. The character was colored with pencils or markers, and around to our superhero, we wrote the name and superpowers!

You can find the grid and the guide to draw the figure below, the worksheets also include the model to build a jointed mannequin with clips for other activities on the human body that you can find HERE.

Here are the superheroes we created to save Art and Nature!
