This is an interesting activity suggested by the art teacher Carlo Vedova and the name of this inter-disciplinary project is “One, Many, No Me”. He doesn’t work in my school, but in a school far away from mine. This teacher had his students write more than 30 descriptions of his face.
The descriptions were sent to me and I handed out a different description to every student. The students created a portrait following the written description, without know the man whose was the description of. As you can see below, to create the portrait the students used any kind of artistic technique. The portraits are very different, because even the descriptions were customized.
L’aspetto interessante è stato proprio quello di vedere la grande varietà di descrizioni verbali di uno stesso soggetto e di conseguenza la grande varietà di Identikit disegnati con le tecniche più disparate.
