Desert landscapes in tonal gradations

Mysterious dunes enlightened by the moon, or lonely mountains in a hot desert? The landscapes painted by the students of Grade 6 are almost abstract and silent. The exercise of the gradations has been used to create a desert landscape, where the warm and cool colors are alternated in the dunes or in the sky. The gradation always starts from the light color (white), and it darkens adding the darker color (eg blue).
