Romero Britto is a BrazilianNeo-pop artist, painter, serigrapher, and sculptor. He combines elements of cubism, pop art and graffiti painting in his work. With the pupils of Grade 6 (11 years old) we have designed and worked on the images of Britto with the image editing program Gimp2. Each student has redrawn the main lines of the painting on a new layer and then he has colored the areas of the design adding texture and reinterpreting freely colors and decorations.
