With the pupils of Year 3 of Cherry Garden Primary School we realized these pop-up card to summarize their topic about the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Every student realized a colorful pop-up card with his own drawing. Here are the full instructions and below are the wonderful results!

What a great idea! So exciting as a pop up.
Their drawings were really difficult to realize, but we simplified the lines and the shapes of the architectures ( that were very complicated… do you imagine to draw the hanging Gardens of Babylon!?) and everyone had their 7 Wonders… wow!
Is interesting because in one card they can gather many architectures and monuments all together!

Ciao Patrizia! E pensa che questi bambini hanno 8 anni, ma quando devono semplificare delle forme architettoniche complesse hanno una capacità straordinaria di sintesi e un occhio "compositivo" molto libero… sarà che non sono troppo preoccupati di rendere il disegno somigliante a tutti costi come i ragazzi delle medie o in genere le persone più adulte. La loro mancanza di filtri troppo logici li fa disegnare in modo molto libero ed espressivo! la cosa che si potrebbe fare con i ragazzi delle medie è un "SOUVENIR" di una città, con l'assemblaggio dei suoi monumenti principali nello stesso pop-up, una specie di cartolina tridimensionale… Un abbraccio a te Patrizia e buon lavoro! In Italia la scuola finisce tra un po' di settimane mentre qua durerà fino a luglio!!!
