After doing a lesson about Shapes and Forms as elements of art my colleague Francesca Dallago created these 3-D solids with Grade 7th students. They traced the lines on a white cardboard (220 gr/sq meter) and cut out the templates. Then they decorated the templates with black & white different patterns, one on every face of the solid. After that they folded and glue the paper to create the geometric solid shape. This activity requests both precision and fantasy.
In this interesting and useful website Fun Stuff To Do you can find printable template to hand out to your students.
