Value landscapes

| | ,

To continue our journey to discover the colors, with the year 7 classes, we painted landscapes in tempera tonal gradation. The forms that become more clear to the horizon can give a sense of distance, of the haze and the atmosphere. All is obtained with the mixtures of only three colors!

  2. Ecco i vostri commenti: vi spiego come funzionano.

  5. Hi Christina! I’m very glad to meet you on the web, I had a look to your amazing blog and to the works of your talented students! Thanks for you blog address 😉
In these paintings they drew the shapes freehand, with a pencil copying from other drawings, I showed them the shapes drawing them on a blackboard. You could even use these drawings: try to show to your pupils these paintings and then draw the shapes on a board. What do you think, could be enough? Keep in touch!

  6. Hi, I have been an ardent fan of your work as a teacher, altogether a different level. I am amazed at the techniques and methods you innovate to create such beautiful lessons. Though I have been following you for a long long time, took the time just now to thank you from my heart, since I use them for the adult class I take. Wish you the very best in life,
