As every year, I’m pleased to share the works created by the students for their middle school final exam.
Starting from a central theme that guided the oral examination, each student identified a connection with the visual arts, deepening their dialogue with artists and artworks.
The real challenge, as always, was to reflect on art in a creative way — reinterpreting the work of artists from a personal perspective and communicating, through images, a message consistent with the chosen topic.
The projects were conceived, discussed, and started in class, and later completed independently by each student.
Below are some moments from the process:
Here are the works presented at the exam: for some projects, the references are immediately recognizable. Many students this year chose themes related to civic education and citizenship, while others focused on topics connected to sports, geography, science, or historical events.
During the oral part of the final exam, each student spoke about their work, describing its connection to the main theme, the techniques used, and the reasons behind their choice.
Well done, boys and girls!
