Draw a castle: 2 worksheets

| |

Two printable PDF worksheets to draw an imaginative CASTLE. In the worksheets we find many types of BUILDINGS, TOWERS, DOORS AND WINDOWS drawn in a simple and linear way, to copy and combine freely to create original castles. From these ideas each student can draw inspiration to invent their own personal manor, decorating it with doors, windows, battlements and flags. On the first sheet there are some examples of the central body of the castle, on the second sheet you will find different shapes of towers, doors and windows. Each student has assembled the castle as they like by composing different elements, to create a unique and personal building.

HERE you will find an activity to draw castles decorating them with different patterns, for a mixed media project that involves the invention of decorative and zentangle motifs to be drawn with different tools and with a watercolor background. In this activity we created these mixed media drawings to experiment different techniques: the creation of black and white patterns with various tools and the background painted with shaded watercolor. For this work we invented castles taking inspiration from the worksheets, with many towers and separate areas that became a pretext to create many different types of patterns.
