With pupils of the Year 7th we began to explore the world of graphic textures: how many signs, decorations, patterns can we invent with some felt-tip pen?
We have created folders in cardboard where we will put our drawings throughout the school year and for the cover every pupil has designed 9 different textures placed in a grid, drawing everything freehand and using imagination. The instructions for this simple work were:
– Use at least two colors for each area
– Fill the entire area with the same texture
– Vary as much as possible the signs and colors
