Masks made of DAS

| | ,

Terracotta or White DAS is an air hardening, non toxic, malleable modelling clay. Fine textured and easy to smooth, DAS can be used on a variety of supports. Decorate with acrylic, varnish or poster paint.
You can use instead of clay. Here students of 8th grade (seconda media) shaped masks and colored them with acrylic colours. Eventually you can put clear varnish.

  1. I've never used DAS before but have seen it in stores. Does it crack much when it dries? These masks are lovely and a great alternative if you don't have a kiln!
