With the Grade 7 (11 year-old) we made small copies from life of the natural textures with colored pencils. In the second phase we have made some line drawings of other textures trying to follow the trend of the lines that form the surfaces. The small drawings were mounted on black card squared as a special “window” opened on the world of nature.
