We have proposed once again a “still life” to our students of Grade 8 (12 year old). This time the subject is not painted in a realistic way, with light and shade or three-dimensional effects. Each student has divided the drawing into various areas and then he has colored it with solid colors, in warm and cold tones. Here are the beautiful interpretations of our students!
I loved this colorful, geometric artwork. You should be very pleased with the students work and your ability to teach them.
Thanks Georgia! You are very kind 🙂
Hi Miriam,
I had my middle and high school students do this project and they came out great! I’ve posted them on my blog here: http://iloveartandcomputers.blogspot.com/2014/04/color-theory-for-everyone.html and given you credit for the idea by including a link to your blog post.
Thanks!
Hillary
