| | , ,

ALIGHIERO BOETTI is an Italian artist active from the 60s to the 90s. His most famous works are the TAPESTRIES in which the artist has inserted, divided into grids, PHRASES invented with very colorful letters. We are inspired by his works to create our “tapestry” with a 9-letter word. Each square contains a letter and will be colored with a COUPLE OF COMPLEMENTARY COLORS.

  • Measure a sheet of drawing paper and cut out a 24cm x 24cm square.
  • Divide the square into a grid of 9 squares measuring 8cm x 8cm.
  • In each square write a letter to make a word of 9 letters in total
  • Think of some IMPORTANT word for you, MEANINGFUL, a word that inspires you at this moment, arouses positive emotions or evokes something beautiful in your existence
  • You can use 9-letter words or even 8-letter words with an exclamation point, or two separate words that have a meaning. All the squares must contain a letter or a symbol.
  • Color with MARKERS and COLORED PENCILS using only PAIRS OF COMPLEMENTARY COLORS for each square. Black and white are also allowed
