After a lesson about Value as one of the  Element of Art, we painted these cubes with 7th Grade students . We used a template to draw the cubes on a drawing paper, tracing them from the worksheet with three cubes, and repeating the drawing until all the paper was full of cubes. Mixed Media Landscape

Working in pairs students Students of Grade 6th created these mixed media landscape. Words in complementary colors

In order to better understand the complementary colors we created a drawing to paint with different shades of complementary colors. Cats on the fence

Here we have an idea to try and use the primary colours and the neutral colours with tempera paint. First we draw the fence (high 11 cm, wide 24 cm, divided in 12 planks, each one 2 cm wide) with a pencil. Then we draw three or more cats, with simple lines and stylised shapes. Collaborative project: design a book cover

In collaboration with literature teachers we have worked on a multidisciplinary project.  Students of 7th Grade worked in small groups to create and write a fantasy or crime short story, according to the criteria set by the literary genre analyzed.
