A simple exercise inspired by the shapes of Matisse to learn about complementary colors. Prepare a 5x5cm grid and then you draw freeform shapes, coloring with alternating complementary colors.
On watercolor paper you can write with the water and drop the colours with the eyedropper. I used colored inks, but you can also use liquid watercolors.
