Per fare ci\u00f2 si utilizzano delle stecche di legno ai lati della lastra, in modo che premendo la creta con il mattarello, la lastra risulti dello stesso spessore su tutta la sua superficie. Si possono usare anche atri oggetti per decorare la lastra, fiori o foglie, o imprimendo forme di vario tipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large I due lati della lastra di creta si uniscono zigrinando le due superfici e applicando la BARBOTTINA, una &#8220;crema&#8221; di creta fluida che funziona come una colla e permette ai pezzi di attaccarsi l&#8217;uno all&#8217;altro. Questi pezzi vanno assemblati sempre con la barbottina avendo cura di &#8220;fondere&#8221; le parti che vengono unite con le dita o con apposite stecche di legno. Questa operazione \u00e8 delicata perch\u00e8 la creta \u00e8 ancora morbida e quindi richiede una certa attenzione e cura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter terracotta bianca, questo materiale viene chiamato BISCOTTO. Le tazze vengono  quindi decorate con SMALTI colorati a pennello, avendo cura di coprire bene tutta la superficie, soprattutto l&#8217;interno delle tazze.
