Printing in Andy Warhol style

Using the method of monoprint already experienced previously with the works of Cézanne, we made these prints inspired by Pop Art . First, we have superimposed a transparent acetate sheet on a photograph of a face in black and white, and then we have colored the various parts of the figure with felt tip pens, separating the lights from the shadows. Repeating the monoprint with different colors we have imitated the style of Andy Warhol’s screen prints. These works were made by students of grade 9.
